Description & Tasting Notes

La Tur translates to ‘the tower’ in local Piedmont dialect and it is made in the style of the famous ‘robiola’ cheeses from the region. A combination of 3 milk types results in a unique flavour that is gentle, but incredibly rich and creamy – some describe it as ‘cheese ice-cream’.

The texture is thick and fudgey, with some runny patches under the thin, white Geotrichum rind. La Tur is quite different to other soft cheeses such as camembert and brie and is incredibly popular.

Enjoy La Tur anytime served with Italian crispbread and Mustard Blackberries.

La Tur pairs well with many white wines, sparkling wines and lighter-bodied red varietals as well as craft beers and single malt whiskies.
